The Spitfire Grill

ECTC presents The Spitfire GrillBased on the film by Lee David Zlotoff, The Spitfire Grill is a heartwarming musical by James Vlacq and Fred Alley that will surely lift the audience’s spirits and give them a song in their hearts.

When a feisty parolee follows her dreams based on a page from an old travel book to a small town in Wisconsin, she soon finds herself working at Hannah’s Spitfire Grill. Despite being the only eatery in the depressed town, the Spitfire Grill is up for sale. With no takers, newcomer Percy suggests to Hannah that she raffle it off. Entry fees are $100 and the best essay on why you want the grill wins. Nevertheless, mail soon begins arriving by the wheelbarrow full and things definitely start cookin’ at the Spitfire Grill.
