July 4th on the Emerald Coast

July 4th is undoubtedly the busiest holiday along the Emerald Coast. From live music, family-friendly activities, to spectacular firework displays that rival high-end productions, the Emerald Coast has you covered for the most memorable July 4th holiday yet! Check out what’s happening along the Emerald Coast to help get your Red, White, and Blue on this July 4th!

The Village of Baytowne Wharf Sandestin

Start your July 4th celebration early with The Village of Baytowne Wharf’s weekly fireworks show Boomin’ Tuesday on Tuesday, July 3 beginning at 7:30 PM. Bring the entire family and enjoy lawn games, inflatables, and all that Baytowne has to offer. Then, stick around for an amazing firework show that lights up the sky at 9:15 PM over the Lagoon. Admission to Boomin’ Tuesday is free and open to the public. The Village of Baytowne Wharf is located inside Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Miramar Beach.

With a host of kid-friendly activities, crafts, face painting, live music, and fireworks, The Village of Baytowne Wharf has everything you need to enjoy a fun, family-friendly fourth. Join us on Wednesday, July 4th for Red, White, and Baytowne at The Village of Baytowne Wharf for kids’ activities beginning at 6:00 PM followed by live music from Donovan Keith on the Events Plaza Stage at 7:00 PM. The night will then light up at 9:15 PM with an unbelievable fireworks display.


Is an evening of music on the lawn more your style? Kick off Independence Day early with the Seaside Stars & Stripes Pops Concert featuring the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday, July 3rd at 7:30 PM. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and grab a spot on the amphitheater lawn in Seaside on 30A for this free show.

Start your July 4th morning back at Seaside for the annual Independence Day Parade at 8:00 AM along 30A. The parade route begins at Seagrove Plaza and continues over to Seaside where the parade ends and the party begins. Join us on the Seaside Amphitheater lawn at 7:00 PM for the Independence Day Concert featuring The Victory Belles followed by the Fireworks Spectacular at 8:30 PM over the Gulf of Mexico. Off-site parking and free shuttles into Seaside are available on July 4th from 6:00 AM until midnight from the public parking lot in Grayton Beach on Hwy 283 across from The Shops of Grayton.


What’s July 4th without a good old-fashioned barbeque? The grills will be fired up on Tuesday, July 3rd for the 8th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival at Destin Commons. Family entertainment and live music by local favorite I’magene and Season Ammons start at 5:00 PM followed by samplings of some of the best BBQ along the Emerald Coast at 5:30 PM. BBQ fanatics can enjoy $1 samples from 16 local restaurants and groups. Then, vote for your favorite as People’s Choice. The night ends with a firework display at 9:30 PM and over $80,000 donated to local charities.

Destin keeps the celebration going on Wednesday, July 4th with the 4th of July Celebration at HarborWalk Village. Join us at the Destin Harbor for live music from the Fortag Band at 7:00 PM followed by a one-of-a-kind firework spectacular at 9:00 PM.

Not ready for the celebration to stop? HarborWalk Village keeps the party going on Thursday, July 5th with the Let Freedom Ring: An All-American Tribute beginning at 6:30 PM. The All-American Celebration includes a must-see WWII Vintage Airshow and live entertainment on the mainstage. Finally, see even more fireworks light up the Destin Harbor once again at 9:00 PM. Don’t forget to stick around after the fireworks for Just Add Fire – a unique fire spinning performance!

Rosemary Beach

Now that the big day is here, start your celebration bright and early on Wednesday, July 4th with the 4th of July Celebration at Rosemary Beach along 30A beginning at 7:30 AM. The Bike Decorating Contest & Breakfast kicks off at 7:30 AM followed by the annual Bike Parade throughout the Town Center at 8:30 AM. Then, stick around for an old-fashioned family field day on Western Green complete with sack races, water balloon toss, prizes, and much more at 9:00 AM. To cap off Independence Day, join us at 6:00 PM on Western Green. We will be rocking out to the sounds of the different decades with band Totally Hep Cats. Nevertheless, the evening will come to a close with a star-spangled firework display from the beach at 8:45 PM.

Grayton Beach

Decorate your cars, jeeps, boats, bikes, scooters, and more for Independence Day! Then, come join in on the Grayton Beach Parade on Wednesday, July 4th. No registration required, and all are welcome. Enjoy popsicles, watermelon, and lemonade at the end of the parade. Line-up begins at The Red Bar at 8:00 AM and the parade will begin at 8:30 AM.

Alys Beach

Bring your blankets and chairs and grab a spot on the Alys Beach Amphitheater lawn on Wednesday, July 4th at 6:00 PM for live music by Celebrity All Star Band and a firework display at 9:00 PM. Pack a picnic, bring the cooler, or grab some food and drinks from local vendors. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
