Traveling with your pooch was never more fun!
Vacations aren’t just for the two-legged kind anymore. In fact, over 50% of travelers bring their dogs along for the ride. Let’s be honest – how could anyone resist those puppy dog eyes as you head out the door? Furthermore, with more pet-friendly hotels on the rise, such as the Residence Inn by Marriott Sandestin at Grand Boulevard, there’s no reason to resist. South Walton is one of the – if not the best – places to vacation with man’s best friend.
Take a stroll along 30A and through the many quaint, seaside towns, and you’ll find that a number of the restaurants and shops are becoming more pet-friendly as dogs and their owners sip, shop, and dine together. Even Grayton Beach’s unofficial slogan reflects this atmosphere – “Nice Dogs, Strange People.” In fact, it can be seen in the mural “The New Dogs of Grayton” located at The Shops of Grayton.
